East Gate Ministries is grounded in, and built upon the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
Our ministry focus is within the East Metro area of St. Paul, MN. Each week our team serves the community through outreach. We also bring the church to the streets through our Street Church service each summer, and our yearly East Gate Festival located at Wilder Recreation center.
Our Story
East Gate Ministries was birthed out of the Commision to reach the lost in the East Side of St. Paul. Evangelist Tomas Walek has led the charge to reach out to those on Payne Ave. that wouldn’t likely step foot inside a church building.
Starting in 2010, outreach teams have consistently spread the love of Jesus along this dark and lonely road of heartbreak and pain with one purpose; to take back what the enemy has stolen from this community.

We reverse the curse by ministering to the community’s felt needs. Each individual is precious to the Father, and our mission is to bring healing and reconciliation so that each child of God who has been made in His image can walk as a whole person in Christ.
Our Vision
We exist to call the body of Christ to come together in unity to reach our communities through relational, redemptive and cultural evangelism and discipleship.
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all-in all.
